Twilight Saga (Costy)

Post  BigSis on Thu Nov 05, 2009 7:58 pm

Costy, if you have finished the Twilight Saga, on Stephanie Meyer's website, there is a draft of Midnight Sun. This is the Twilight book told from Edwards perspective. It's quite good, but totally unfinished. It was leaked so she posted it on her own website with the view to finishing it at some point.

Thanks for site reference Bigsis. I've had a look and it doesn't look half bad at all. Did you see the Twilight movie Bigsis? What did you think of it? I wasn't really that impressed with it to be honest. It was ok, nothing special really I thought. I don't know if it's because I had read the book first and I always find that when I've read the book and then see the movie version it disappoints but thought given all the hype about it that it would have been spectacular. Not sure about going to see the second movie at all now.

I watched Twilight (the first one) before reading the books and loved it. I loved the books too - am re-reading them at the moment. Embarassed
I enjoyed New Moon but not as much as the first one. I though they did it well but I found the whole Bella screaming a bit unbearable. Jacob was great in this one. Really likeable. After I read Eclipse I found him really annoying, but in Breaking Dawn he was really funny. Love the banter between Edward and Rosalie. Still team Edward for me though. Laughing

Have you saw the new one yet?

I got The Host from the library today. Same author as the Twilight Saga, but totally unrelated!! Heard mixed reviews about it.

Haven't read this one but a colleague in work has and she didn't really enjoy it that much but that's just her opinion I suppose. Shocked

I am on the very last chapter of this book and actually really enjoyed it.
Give it a try Costy. Nothing like Twilight, but there are similarities which you will spot, but just Stephanie Meyer's style I suppose.
