Re: favorite romantic movie ever ?
Not into Romantic films either: I do remember one old black & white film of many years ago starring Dirk Bogarde and a wife/gf that was dying, a bit sad and at the time I remember being choked up....more a reality fan, white knights in shining armour etc not for me.

I had to re-read that Chris.
I read it as you are more a reality fan, knights in shining armour. I thought you neede a wee reality check there, but then read it correctly. Still made me laugh though

In today's world, those same white knights are the ones who leave their dirty socks lying on the bedroom floor, clothes strewn around everywhere and expect tea to be on the table when they arrive after a day loafing at the office, and......and........ f**t in bed and pull the clothes up!!

What 'Damsels in distress' fail to realise is that after they 'succumb', within a week, they will end up polishing the brasswork and 'muckin' out the horses if the 'oh so romantic' White Knights are true to men's form

I agree with you. there's a few things that are inaccurate in Titanic . that really does not make the film nay less than a masterpiece.
